We
spent 3 easy weeks in late September on
Bali, the very peaceful island with beautiful beaches and a
relaxed atmosphere. In the countryside we made several walks
through the green rice fields in the period that people were busy with harvesting
and ploughing the fields with their ox, while the local children ask for your name.
We visited some beautiful temples and were
lucky to witness the holy Galungan festival. Unfortunately the bombing made the
people of
Bali
very afraid for difficult times to come. |
