IRAN

Here you find some of our scanned slides from our trip to Iran in 1996. A very remarkable trip. At that time Iran had a reputation of a difficult to travel country. But it was one of our most pleasant trips. Very special atmosphere. People were very open, and actually we never talked so much with women in an Islamic country. Besides the atmosphere, you have of course all the tourist sights. The monuments from BC and all the Islamic monuments from the last centuries, impressing! Travelling by public transport was also not a big problem.
