LADAKH

Hopefully our digital pictures from our 2003 trip to Ladakh show that it was one of our best trips ever. Desolate, dry landscapes, great mountains, and beautiful situated Buddhist monasteries, where the rituals are like they were hundreds of years ago. It was very good to do several hikes, but also to join the morning puja's in one of the old monasteries. Conclusion: It was breathtaking!
