We made a 4 weeks trip through beautiful and friendly Myanmar (Burma). The 2000 temples in Bagan lay scattered around in the countryside and you can reach them easily with a hired bicycle. The people are very warm-hearted and easygoing. The capital Yangon (Rangoon) is dominated by the Swedagon Buddhist temple which is very famous and always busy with local people and pelgrims. |
