A few of our scanned slides, from the 1995 trip to Uzbekistan. A very special combination of a communist and an Islamic country. One of the highlights was of course the famous Registan square in Samarkant, an explosion of blue tiles. But also a stay at one of the tea gardens in Bukhara was a special experience. |
