Some years ago we travelled in 4 weeks from Ho Chi Minh city to Hanoi. Of course visiting the Mekong delta, the Cu Chi Vietcong tunnels, the Tay Ninh church, Several Cham monuments, the former imperial capital Hue, Hanoi and the rock formations near Haiphong. A very special trip, not only because of all the different monuments, landscapes and people, but also because of the war history. There is a lot that remembers to this terrible period. But it is also fascinating to see how Vietnam deals with it and how it is busy with improving the economic level. |
