KAMP WESTERBORK

Between 1942 and 1945 the German Nazis used Kamp Westerbork as a 'transit camp' for transporting Jews,  Sinti and Roma to the concentration camps in Germany. Only a few thousand returned from the more then one hundred thousand which were send to Germany. Before the war, the camp was in use for Jewish refuges from Germany.                                            Kamp Westerbork
